The power supplier should comply with orders from the emergency preparedness organisation during states of preparedness and war. The process for receiving, verifying and executing such orders should be defined and documented. This ensures a clear chain of command and rapid response in a crisis situation.
A procedure should be in place which enables KSL to takes over management of the KBO in exceptional circumstances and empowers Statnett SF to act as KSL's executive body during states of preparedness and war.
The power supplier should ensure its operations are organized with regional representatives (KDS) who have the authority to implement orders and required measures during an extraordinary situation.
