AI Act (Base)

Oh no! No description found. But not to worry. Read from Tasks below how to advance this topic.

The Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) is the EU's landmark regulation creating a comprehensive legal framework for AI. It follows a risk-based approach, setting rules for AI systems based on their potential for harm, and aims to promote trustworthy and human-centric AI across the Union.

The Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) is a European Union regulation that establishes the first-ever comprehensive legal framework for AI. It adopts a risk-based approach, classifying AI systems into four categories: unacceptable risk, high risk, limited risk, and minimal risk. Practices deemed to pose an unacceptable risk, such as social scoring by public authorities and manipulative AI, are prohibited. High-risk AI systems, such as those used in critical infrastructure, medical devices, or recruitment, are subject to strict requirements before they can be placed on the market. These requirements include robust risk management systems, high-quality data governance, detailed technical documentation, transparency, human oversight, and high levels of accuracy and cybersecurity. Systems with limited risk, like chatbots, are subject to transparency obligations to ensure users know they are interacting with an AI. Minimal-risk AI systems are not regulated. The regulation also introduces specific rules for general-purpose AI (GPAI) models, with additional obligations for models that pose systemic risks. The regulation also specifies baseline requirements on topics such as training and AI awareness and codes of conduct concerning AI usage in organisations. The Act has extraterritorial reach, and applies to all providers who place AI systems on the EU market, regardless of where they are based.

The ISMS component hierachy

When building an ISMS, it's important to understand the different levels of information hierarchy. Here's how Cyberday is structured.

Framework

Sets the overall compliance standard or regulation your organization needs to follow.

Requirements

Break down the framework into specific obligations that must be met.

Tasks

Concrete actions and activities your team carries out to satisfy each requirement.

Policies

Documented rules and practices that are created and maintained as a result of completing tasks.

Never duplicate effort. Do it once - improve compliance across frameworks.

Reach multi-framework compliance in the simplest possible way
Security frameworks tend to share the same core requirements - like risk management, backup, malware, personnel awareness or access management.
Cyberday maps all frameworks’ requirements into shared tasks - one single plan that improves all frameworks’ compliance.
Do it once - we automatically apply it to all current and future frameworks.
