It’s time once again to look back and take a peek at what’s been happening at Cyberday during the first half of 2026. Spring has truly been a time of fresh beginnings, and over the past six months we’ve gathered insights from our customers and partners, engaged in valuable discussions about the future of information security as technology evolves, and continued to develop our own solution with the help of our growing team. Next, let’s take a peek at Cyberday’s spring—its events, developments, and ideas.
During the winter, we heard, discussed, and built.
We kicked off 2026 with a team planning day in a setting that couldn’t have been more perfect: what better way to refresh the mind than to go out together for some hot wings at a saloon? Although the venue was a departure from the traditional meeting room, we gave serious thought to our goals for the year, brainstormed new opportunities, and had discussions between teams.

At the beginning of the year, we also reviewed the results of a user survey conducted in late 2025. We organized the survey to better understand our customers’ perspective on growing information security requirements, as well as their needs regarding product development. The results we received were very encouraging, but also insightful.
In particular, we were able to identify a shift. Organizations are increasingly less likely to view information security management and compliance merely as an annual project just before an audit. This shift has made information security, risk management, and governance continuous processes that are part of organizations’ daily operations.
Overall, the feedback we received from our users strongly influenced what we prioritized during 2026. We have focused our development resources on features that further reduce manual tasks, improve collaboration, and facilitate the integration of compliance-related processes into daily operations. To ensure business continuity, the focus is shifting increasingly from documentation toward workflows that help organizations maintain and continuously improve compliance. More on this coming later! ⬇️

The dialogue continues: webinars and industry events
This spring, we launched a new monthly webinar series focused on practical compliance and information security topics, such as risk management and the audit process. We’ve received a great response, and we’ll continue to host these webinars.
We also participated in several industry events across the Nordic region, including CIO Nordic in Helsinki, the Digiturvallisuusmessut in Jyväskylä, and V2 Security in Copenhagen. At Digiturvallisuusmessut we transformed our booth into a Studio and spent the day discussing key themes. It was great to see so many interested people listening to our experts’ talks. We also took to the event stages ourselves to speak on a key topic: AI as part of information security.

Organizations no longer ask whether AI affects security and compliance efforts, because the answer is clear: Yes, it does. Now the focus is on understanding how to use AI safely, manage it responsibly, and at the same time leverage it to improve efficiency and decision-making.
AI is transforming compliance work
Since we talk about this topic a lot, you can probably guess that AI has also been a key focus area in our own product development this spring.
We have introduced new Agentic AI features designed to make compliance work more practical and less repetitive. AI can now help users navigate requirements, understand obligations, and support administrative work in a smarter way.

We’ve also expanded Cyberday to support new AI-related regulatory frameworks, particularly the EU AI Act and the ISO 42001 standard, helping organizations integrate AI governance into their existing compliance and information security processes.

From Static Workflows to Functional Compliance Solutions
Alongside AI tools, another key focus area this spring has been making compliance work more consistent and effective.
We recently introduced MCP integrations as part of a solution for smarter workflows and better connections between Cyberday, AI tools, and daily work environments.
At the same time, we have continued to develop the tool to reduce manual administration and support more continuous, practical management of security work. Workflows support this by turning key themes into active, functional entities.

Every workflow page is structured the same way: the top section displays the status, key metrics for the theme, quick actions, instructions, tasks, and reports—so once you’ve learned how to use one workflow, you’ll know how to use the others.
We certified!
As you may have already noticed, Cyberday is currently certified in accordance with ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015. We are now pleased to announce that we have earned our third certification: the ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification!
We are committed to identifying and developing responsible practices regarding the environmental impact of our work. See our certificates in our Trust Center
What’s Next
If the first half of 2026 taught us anything, it’s that compliance work is becoming even more continuous, networked, and AI-assisted.
Organizations are looking for practical ways to integrate governance, information security, risk management, and AI oversight into their daily operations, and this is precisely the direction in which we at Cyberday are continuing our development work.
