Introducing: Cyberday’s new AI Assistant 🚀

Already for the past few years at Cyberday, we’ve been developing AI tools to support our framework and content development work. These tools have helped our experts analyze requirements from frameworks, generate different kind of practive tasks to implement requirements, and otherwise keep our content technology sharp and up-to-date.

Now, we’re excited to take the next big step: bringing an AI assistant directly into the Cyberday app to help our users.

AI assistant will be published in Cyberday during September 2025.

What can Cyberday AI assistant do?

Our vision is to make your compliance work faster, clearer, and more effective. Cyberday AI assistant will act as your coach and secretary on this journey - whichever you, at any moment, happen to need the most.

Here are a few first use cases, where the assistant will be able to assist you:

Get things done faster

Writing tailored process descriptions for tasks: Taking into account your input (keywords and topic selections) and tuning the content based on your organization's industry, size, and location.

Assisting on writing good and customized process descriptions for tasks

Helping you choose the most relevant frameworks: Going through the full list on Cyberday's framework library and highlighting the frameworks that seem most relevant for your organization, depending on your industry, size and location.

Assisting on finding and activating the most relevant frameworks

Using your existing documents to evaluate a policy: You can post an existing file for the AI Assistant, it will read it through and compare to the tasks on evaluation, and return you list of suggestions to fill the policy evaluation with.

Assisting on evaluating a policy with already existing content

We have also multiple ideas where we want to continue on this path, e.g. have the assistant help you in:

  • Writing employee security guidelines and training content suited to your needs
  • Finding an answer to a tricky question on security questionnaire you got from a customer, directly from your ISMS (and backed with evidence)
  • Pre-filling your internal audit report, by automatically checking for clear missing ownerships, documentation, overdue reviews, etc.

Analyze your compliance and set priorities

Doing a compliance report analysis: This means going through a compliance report for a selected framework in detail, and providing improvement recommendation on 4 categories:

  • Key tasks to improve (progressing these will improve multiple requirements on the report and thus give a big compliance boost)
  • Requirements with quick wins (these are requirements you can get to a better compliance category with limited needed work)
  • Lightly implemented key requirements (these are large key requirements from the framework, that should be implemented more comprehensively)
  • Other improvements (these are e.g. problems with tasks assurance information and other smaller things to fix)
Providing an analysis of a compliance report with prioritized suggestions

We're also working with multiple ideas on this side, which are coming soon but might not make it to the very first version:

  • Doing a complete ISMS analysis, which will go through all the different aspects of ISMS and highlight you the ones that would need most urqent attention.
  • Helping on risk management, by providing suggestions on risks to move forward on the workflow to evalution, treatment or to be closed, based on your ISMS content and organizational characteristics.

Offer guidance on security and Cyberday usage

Explaining a task in plain language: The assistant can give you a no-nonsense overview of the task - including it's main idea, related requirements and key terminology.

Explaining the key idea, compliance priority, key terms and implementation examples for a chosen task

Offering you free-form guidance: The assistant will also be able to answer any free questions you may have related to Cyberday, frameworks, theire requirements or information security in general. We will also be highlighting some popular questions examples on each page inside the app.

Related thoughts and AI control

We'll be giving admins on each Cyberday account the control of using the assistant on your accounts or not. If you want to keep your thinking more manual, you can disable the whole assistant on your account.

We will also be informing you every time the assistant will need to use some deeper context data from your account. E.g. on the compliance report analysis example above, stats about your compliance towards a framework will need to be shared to the assistant so it can perform it's job. These kind of details are always clearly visible, when you're initiating some actions with the assistant. This kind of data sharing will never happen automatically nor without informing you clearly.

First version will be published coon!

We’ll be releasing the first version of the AI assistant this September.

This will really be just the beginning for our team too, as you can already see from the next ideas even on this post. After the initial publish we’ll keep making the assistant smarter, more supportive, and more deeply connected into all different Cyberday features.

We’re excited for this one and really hoping to hear all your feedback! 👍
