Changes to Cyberday hosting

As part of our ongoing security and continuity efforts, we’re making an update to Cyberday’s hosting infrastructure.

We are currently planning to migrate our hosting to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, AWS’s infrastructure designed specifically for European customers and EU data sovereignty requirements.

What does this mean for you?

Your Cyberday data has always been hosted in the EU and that isn't changing. Difference is that our hosting will just move from AWS’s US-based entity to its EU-based sovereign cloud environment.

The main change is the legal and operational environment behind our hosting: the AWS and Heroku entities currently involved in providing our hosting services will be replaced by the relevant AWS European Sovereign Cloud entities. The new environment is designed to be operated and controlled within the EU.

From a technical perspective, the setup will remain essentially the same, using equivalent database and hosting technologies. We therefore do not expect any impact on Cyberday’s performance or day-to-day use.

The migration is scheduled for 12 September 2026. We will also display a maintenance notification in Cyberday one week before the migration. Our subprocessor information will be updated accordingly when the migration takes effect.

No changes to your Cyberday configuration, integrations, or account are required.

If you have any questions about the change or how we process your organisation’s data, please feel free to contact us at team@cyberday.ai
