The Netz- und Informationssystemsicherheitsgesetz 2024 (NISG 2024) is the Austrian implementation of the EU's NIS2 Directive.
The NIS2 Directive aims to achieve a harmonized high level of cybersecurity across the EU member states. NISG 2024 is intended to increase the cyber resilience of affected entities in Austria by setting requirements for the security of network and information systems.
